Great chest, excellent price
I bought this chest to hold a decorative comforter set that my wife and I got for Christmas. As usual, Amazon shipping was fast and free.
The chest arrived in six pieces - the top, bottom, and four sides, two hinge stops, and two bags of hardware. The instructions are mediocre, but the installation process is pretty straight forward even without good directions. The chest is held together with screw-in locks and pegs. I found the holes lined up perfectly and everything fit together snugly. Disappointing merchandise
The Carolina Cottage Camden Blanket Chest in Antique Black was purchased at an excellent price. My husband spent over two hours with a fine brush and satin black enamel touching up those areas. This is not something that we expect with quality merchandise.

As I stated before, it was inexpensive, but I feel that I was given a very poor product for the money. The packaging was shabbly put together and the finish was very uneven. The instructions were very difficult to decipher (especially since it was calling out parts that were not even in the assembly). I managed to use a little common sense assembly skills from the past, but it's difficult when you don't even have the correct number of parts. I called the company, the gentleman seemed apologetic and said, "I'll send out the whole entire hardware kit so you'll have spares", which I appreciated. I decided to try to go further with the assembly process when I discovered that one of the side pieces...
