Poor construction
This desk broke the first day it was in my house! The drawer is actually supposed to pull out (for a computer keyboard, presumably) -- the drawer face is supposed to rotate out 45 degrees to lay parallel to the drawer's bottom. Upon receiving the desk, however, I couldn't get the drawer to open -- until the whole desk face CAME OFF in my hand. Wouldn't purchase it again, or recommend it to anyone.

FRAGILE CONSTRUCTION
I had (3) of these units delivered as each one was broken in transit. Finally AMAZON declared the unit non-deliverable. Looks good but badly constructed. Scared to place anything on the desk as the desk looked like it would collapse.
Carolina Cottage Bella Desk
I returned this desk. It is made of very cheap material. It arrived with a split leg, cracked corner and broken drawer. It did not hold up well to the shipping - but it is fiberboard (or least it appears to be). I would not recommend this desk.

Great chest, excellent price
I bought this chest to hold a decorative comforter set that my wife and I got for Christmas. As usual, Amazon shipping was fast and free.

The chest arrived in six pieces - the top, bottom, and four sides, two hinge stops, and two bags of hardware. The instructions are mediocre, but the installation process is pretty straight forward even without good directions. The chest is held together with screw-in locks and pegs. I found the holes lined up perfectly and everything fit together snugly. The installation only took an hour, including a few minutes for deciphering the directions at the beginning and 15 minutes at the end to to switch the hinge locks to the correct sides.

The piece is an attractive black veneer, which is what we wanted to match our black veneer bedroom set from Value City. The hinges operate smoothly and the chest sits flat on our wood floor.

Disappointing merchandise
The Carolina Cottage Camden Blanket Chest in Antique Black was purchased at an excellent price. However, the styrofoam packing used to protect the chest during shipping rubbed the components of the chest during shipping. This created at least 25 long very narrow areas on the chest where the black finish was rubbed off to the bare wood. We purchased the chest to give as a gift and time did not permit returning it. My husband spent over two hours with a fine brush and satin black enamel touching up those areas. This is not something that we expect with quality merchandise.
Should've taken more heed to the previews!!
Hmm..where do I start? It was relatively inexpensive to comparable pieces of furniture, so I gave it a shot. I make it a point to read the previews and their advice has steered me away from certain products. They also, have reaffirmed my decisions for other products on occasion.

As I stated before, it was inexpensive, but I feel that I was given a very poor product for the money. The packaging was shabbly put together and the finish was very uneven. The instructions were very difficult to decipher (especially since it was calling out parts that were not even in the assembly). I managed to use a little common sense assembly skills from the past, but it's difficult when you don't even have the correct number of parts. I called the company, the gentleman seemed apologetic and said, "I'll send out the whole entire hardware kit so you'll have spares", which I appreciated. I decided to try to go further with the assembly process when I discovered that one of the side pieces...

Functional and Attractive
I ordered this piece to use as a sideboard in our dining room and it's working out very well. It was easy to assemble and feels sturdy. I store wine glasses in the glass front compartments. When entertaining we convert this into our 'bar' for wine, coffee or a beverage dispenser. Lots of compliments from guests.

Great little desk!
I ordered this desk because my sister had bought one also and I was impressed with its look and size. The desk was delivered via a delivery service so I was able to choose when it arrived (which was very nice!) and it arrived exactly when they said it would and the driver put it in the room where I needed it to go. Assembly was a breeze as it only needs the legs attached (rather than the excruciating task of putting together a drawer). All pieces were intact, the instructions very clear and there was no damage or any defects at all.

I also read in another review that there was no notch or portal for the keyboard wires to go. They must have altered that because the one that came today has a notch in the back to hide the wires.

For the price, I think it's a great product and exactly what I expected and am very happy with it!

Quality product at a decent price
This desk is very solid and well-built. The assembly consists only of attaching the four legs, which makes it quick and easy. Looks great in the kid's room.
GREAT COMPUTER DESK
If you're looking for a computer desk, this is it. I would have given it 5 stars if it had an opening somewhere so that the connection from the back of my computer dropped right in to the pull out draw for the keyboard so that it would be hidden. Otherwise this is a great choice, very well made, the the wire connection should not stop you from purchasing it
