Excellent value for the price!
When our son was born we had a Jenny Lind changing table (search for ASIN B000FTD1HA, the oak color) that had been given to us fully assembled but unused by the original owners. It wasn't bad, but never impressed me as being very sturdy. Our son is a big kid (born 10 lbs 12.2oz!) and changing him sometimes turns into a wrestling match, until finally a few weeks ago the entire top shelf of the changing table collapsed! Wood split and splintered, no way to repair, utter disaster. Looked like the Titanic, after hitting the bottom of the Atlantic.

So, after a lot of research, visits to every store that carried anything that could even be adapted for use as a changing table, we finally found and settled on this particular one on Amazon. We needed something that could be used after he outgrew the need for a changing table, not to mention something sturdy enough to hold up to some wear and tear while he's still being changed on it. Great Price, Great Product, Very Functional and Nice Looking
My wife and I picked this changing table out for the newest addition to our family. With the new baby coming I have been putting what seems like a million items together in the past couple of months so when I opened the package this changing table came in I was pretty disappointed at first because it seemed as though there were hundreds of parts. In reality there are a lot of parts however they are numbered properly and the instructions make putting this changing table together an easy task. Once put together I called my wife into the room and she was really excited. This item is what I would consider high quality for a piece of furniture ordered online. Obviously there are more expensive options that come put together however this changing table is well designed and offers a great amount of storage in what we consider very functional for a changing table.

beautiful and solid for a great price
we bought the south shore savanah changing table because it was not expensive and fit into our apt. It was delivered promptly nicely packaged. I am not handy and I knew that this would take me a long time to build but when i opened the box and saw the amount of parts i flipped, to make matters worse the instructions were so hard to figure out. I ended up hiring a handyman and it took him 2 hours and cost me $50. But after all that it was worth it. The changing table is beautiful and very sturdy it looks like a $400 piece. If your looking for a great changing table at a great price this is your best bet. (just be aware its frustrating to build)

Great First Bed
I just upgraded my son from a toddler bed to a big boy bed and decided to purchase this one. The storage is great for extra blankets, books, stuffed animals, etc. It also happens to be large enough and supportive enough that I did away with the box springs after purchasing this frame.

My only complaints are these: when I received it one of the boards was slightly cracked, and it's a LOT of work to put together.Finish seemed quite a bit darker than what was purchased.

The only right thing about this bed is that I ordered it from Amazon
As a start, I'm very good with furniture assembly in general. Now, without exaggeration... I entered the first screw in the first piece of wood (which was part of the drawers) and *crack*, the screw made a crack immediately when it reached the end, and I didn't turn it hard or tried to make sure it's secured by pushing it further. I thought it might be my mistake that I had the piece of wood placed on the floor and not a carpet. I entered the 2nd screw in the other hole, on a carpet and... *crack*. And by the way, one of the screws' holes (where you enter your screwdriver) was melted (I really don't know what ISO South Shore are talking about), so I was going to end up anyway with one screw less if I continued the assembly.
Anyway, the only right thing, as I said in the subject, is that I ordered this item from Amazon and they didn't give me a hard time returning it (well, the pick-up guy is coming tomorrow but I don't expect any issues since it's Amazon related)...

Nice bedframe
Pressboard construction, drawers that work. I believe there was a piece missing when it shipped but it wasn't critical and I was able to work around it

Compared to a standard full mattress, the frame is about 2cm to 5cm larger. So you'll be able to see some brown pressboard around the edges if you're not using a large comforter.
Gets The Job Done
This thing took me forever to assemble. I did it over the span of 4 days, for about 3 hours a day. The instructions aren't nearly as descriptive as they should be, and they updated the product design without updating the instructions, so I spent a good 30 mins looking for a piece that doesn't exist. However, now that it's done, I really like it. It doesn't look as "adult" as I was hoping it would, but it's not nearly as unstable as other reviewers have commented. I have my box spring on it (I bought it, so heck yes I'm going to use it), and share it with my boyfriend (full size). It feels sturdy, not wobbly. But I did screw in the screws reaaally tightly, so maybe that made the difference. Anyway, the white design is sleek, the storage is ample, and it's the cheapest thing I could find. I'd prefer a nicer, more mature looking bedframe, but as far as storage beds go, this is as good as it gets for broke folks.

Was good, but now....
This dresser seemed like a great investment when we bought it, however, after about 1 month of LIGHT use (we only use it for PJs, shorts, PTs, and underwear - all light things), the drawers have started breaking. At first we thought the first drawer was because of something that we did wrong, but now that 2 more drawers have broken, as well, one of which only had a couple of sleep pants and t-shirts in it, we know that there is no way we could have messed up building 3 separate drawers, with a 4th drawer beginning to fall into it's lower partner. I do not recommend buying this is you want it to last more than a month!

Satisfied with it
I bought this dresser online without seeing it. It took quite a while to assemble (2 hours or so). It looks really pretty but the quality of the material is closer to the cheaper side. The material on the top of the dresser is very sensitive to water. I put a bowl on it once that wasn't very dry at the bottom and the stains are still there weeks later, so try not to use any water on it. The top left drawer is very stubborn and not so easy to open and close for some reason. I am not sure if it's a problem with the pieces themselves or if we assembled it wrong, but I think it's a fault with the materials because all the other drawers are perfectly fine. The colour is white but it has streaks of very very light pink/off white, so if you are picky about all the furniture pieces matching and being white, I would see it in person first before buying it to make sure you like it.
Great for the money!
I probably looked at about a hundred dressers and went to about ten different stores. I was shocked and annoyed at how pricey composite freakin' wood could be! I wanted something that looked good and matched my other furniture but was under $150 and I found it. The key is assembly. I assembled it myself and it took almost a full day. If I had used some wood glue and a couple of extra nails this thing would be sturdy as all get out. Follow the directions carefully. The drawers slide in and out with quiet ease. The only negative thing I can say about the dresser is that it does chip easily but I've had it a few months without incident. Other than that it's fantastic.

Great for what it is!
Ignore the bad reviews that complain about it being "cheap." First of all, the product description clearly states that it is made of composite wood and secondly, for the price of this dresser you are not going to receive a high quality, solid wood piece of furniture. I don't think it's fair to give a bad review because you wanted something more than what it is. For what it is, it's a nice dresser. It's looks exactly like the picture, it's good color, and it is sturdy. Before purchasing this, I went to the local furniture store and checked out a few dressers for this same price and this one is much better. These drawers slide smoothly, the dresser is in great condition (no dinks or scratches), and it is not wobbly or flimsy. The company (South Shore) is excellent to work with. One of the panels for the matching night stand I purchased was damaged so I called South Shore and they sent me an undamaged piece. I couldn't even believe how easy it was.

Single and finished it
Box of parts (lots of) was VERY heavy. Took it piece by piece to living room. I'm a single mom so I had to build it alone though it suggests 2 people. It took awhile but the directions are pretty clear and when taken page by page, was very understandable. Finding the right tool to use for some of the screws was a trial & error process. Very nice looking. Used wood glue to secure the bottom of the drawers even more and used extra nails for back piece, may go and get a piece of plywood to replace cheap back that supports frame. Very buildable and nice design.

I love the quick sliding drawers. It took a while to put together, but everything fit perfect. I highly recommend.

Nice reasonable priced bed frame
I bought this bed for my camp because of the underbed drawers. It came well packaged and there was no damage to the contents. I unpacked the pieces and hardware packs and laid them out on the floor. I read the instructions. The fasteners were a new kind to me but they worked well. It took me a minute to figure out how they worked. Assembly went smoothly once I got used to the numbering system of the parts and how the parts went together. The bed is sturdy and looks nice. I also ordered the headboard. Assembly of the headboard is similar. I was very satisfied with this bed. I weigh 250 pounds and the bed had no issues with support. I ordered a second bed and it took me about half the time to assemble it. The drawers are sturdy and operate without any problems. I see where some folks have problems assembling this bed. The instructions make you think. You have a satisfied customer here.

Well... How destructive is your kid?
So, here's the thing about this bed. It looks pretty cute, it's pretty easy to assemble, it's pretty sturdy, and it's pretty cheap, but how long it will last will depend heavily on what kind of child you have. The board situated directly under the mattress has snapped in half on mine after owning it for a period of about three to four months, which then caused one of the drawers to disassemble. It's not looking so cute anymore. Now, I've got to find something to replace that board with (I might try a... board). But, I'm still going to give this four stars because the bed, I don't believe, would have done that if your kid was using it. Mine is just a tornado of destruction and is rarely seen not being in Hulk-mode. Is your kid in Hulk-mode? Is he a really big fan of jumping on things and not so much a fan of stopping when you tell him to? You might want to pass, or buy it but go ahead and reinforce it immediately.

Slow Delivery - Broken Parts - Worst Service. Ever.
OK, I admit Amazon has taught me to expect fast delivery, so I'm bound to be incredulous when a vendor takes Two Weeks to ship.
So I practice my patience skills, am really happy when it arrives but lo and behold - pieces are broken! Not bent or scratched, but broken...as in snapped in half where the dowel holes are.

I contacted South Shores via email, specified the part required, they asked for more info, I gave them all the codes and part numbers they need, get told to wait for a confirmation and then guess what - nothing, no response, nada. I followed up and what do you know, no record I'd ever exchanged emails with them. So I had to give them all the details again - and - wait for it - it will take another Two Weeks to ship the replacements. I asked them if they could expedite and the girl reluctantly said she'd make it a 'priority' order so it will get shipped out 'sometime this week' rather than waiting the 'standard 10 days' before being 'processed'. Basic "starter" bed
Very basic bed. Bought this as a "big bed" for my 3-year-old. The drawers slide on plastic runners that fit into grooves on the sides of the drawers, so they don't open or close very smoothly, especially in high humidity. My daughter sometimes needs help to open or close them by herself. Otherwise, they are fairly sturdy and provide ample storage space. The knobs on the drawers are painted tan to match the color of maple wood. They are not actually varnished raw wood. Not a big deal for me, since I plan to paint them white to match the bed and other furniture in her room anyway. I also would suggest gluing the knobs in place since the screws easily strip out the wood causing them to fall off easily. If you can live with the minor frustrations, the bed is a good, inexpensive option for a child. I wouldn't suggest it as a piece to last a lifetime.

Affordable, Stylish Dresser for Girl's Room
I purchased this dresser about two years ago for my daughters' bedroom. The dresser is great for small rooms since it adds a lot of storage and is vertical, instead of horizontal, so it doesn't take up a lot of space.

The dresser was simple to put together, the drawers slide out easily, and the dresser is very sturdy. We are very happy with this purchase.

Good product for the price... time consuming "build" time.
We got this dresser and the matching night stand for our grand-daughters room in our house. It is composite/pressed board material and we were a little nervous when we opened the box, the individual pieces seemed kind of on the small side and the backing and drawer bottoms are more like a heavy card-board type material. We were also a little annoyed with how long it took to put it all together. Each drawer has to be put together, then the frame, the trim, the back put on last to square it, etc... BUT... I will say that once it's all done and put together it is larger than I expected, far roomier than expected, and quite sturdy. The flower detail, turned trim on the bottom, and the very pretty drawer pulls really add to it's charm and we couldn't be happier with both pieces in the end. We do have one drawer that doesn't glide as smoothly as the others and feels a bit tighter but it's not worth worrying about as she can get it open and closed with no problem. For the price in...
Materials used are definitely of a lesser quality.
I'll even disregard that the bottom base piece was broken when my dresser arrived. I purchased this for my girlfriend for our apartment. When I first carried this up the stairs to the place I had high hopes because of how heavy the box was, it weighed almost twice as much as a similar dresser I bought at Target two days before.

Here's a Pro's and Con's List for easy deciphering.

Pros
-I suppose it does look halfway decent when it's all assembled
- It has 5 drawers instead of 4 and is still just as wide as my Target dresser

Cons-
-It is probably one of the worst instruction manuals I've ever seen for diy furniture assembly.
-It's made entirely of cheap, very cheap particle board (lower quality than most I've seen.)
-The drawer slides and most of the hardware is made of plastic ( fine at first, but much more likely to break or stop functioning)
-Drawers don't slide open and closed very easily
-Drawers are not very...

It wasn't hard to put together, just time consuming, but that's to be expected when you order a six drawer dresser in a box. The sliding hardware for the drawers is plastic but we have not had a single problem with them. They actually make sliding the drawers opened and closed much quieter. This was a perfect purchase for what I was looking for!!

Great bed for a young kid
We bought this to replace a toddler bed for my three-year-old (along with the matching headboard).

I am happy with the product overall - the only criticism I have is that the drawer bottoms are a thin, almost cardboard-like material instead of the thicker board like the rest of the bed, and I don't see that holding up to kids for very long.

One of the long, thin boards that run above and below the drawers was broken in half when it arrived (more than likely from shipping, though the packing seems like it should have been adequate). We called for a replacement and received it quickly, no questions asked. Luckily it was not a support piece, so we were able to assemble the rest of the bed and use it in the meantime. The manufacturer definitely makes an effort to prevent damage with lots and lots of support and packing material.

One thing to note is that when you open the package, you may notice some pieces that are not the right color. I was alarmed...

Good dresser, but be ready to work.
This dresser turned out to be a very nice one. It is somewhat frustrating to assemble, but you have to remember that YOU ARE ASSEMBLING A DRESSER. Just follow directions exactly as shown and you will have yourself a nice looking dresser with smooth gliding drawers. Total assembly time was about 4.5 hours.
I LIKE TO CRITICIZE
The headboard arrived today. It was a day early, contained extra assembly parts, and I had to pee twice during the two hours it took me to un-crate and assemble it. But, despite all these problems, it is perfect and was easy to assemble. I guess I have to give it 5-STARS.

I bought this dresser for twice the price less than a year ago and it is junk. The top of the dresser is pealing, all but 3 of the knobs have pulled off, and it is VERY flimsy. I'd still be mad if I got it at this price, keep looking , this isnt the one.

Perfect
This is a beautiful piece of furniture for my daughter. My only complaint is that it should tell you that there are almost 400 pieces to put it together and takes at the minimum of 3 hours to assemble. Ugh, what a drag.
Just as Photographed and Described
We bought this for our daughter for her 5th birthday (along with the bed, headboard, and night stand). We are pleased with the purchase. It is just as described... We like to buy used furniture from CraigsList, but found that this was almost as inexpensive, but it'd be brand-new and not require us to borrow a truck. We'd make the same choice again. (The drawers are a bit time-consuming to put together, but that is to be expected... if you want a quality product.)

My son LOVES this headboard!!!
My son has had this headboard (In addition to the night table and captains bed that matches) for about a year and a half and he loves it!!! It matches perfectly, was easy to put together (yes you will need a few simple tools because it comes in a box that is flat......but very easy to put together), and is very sturdy!!!

My son loves that it has deep cubby holes for his things.......and a hole already in it for his clock that needs plugged in. We are considering buying another bed and headboard for our second son who is 2 now and will need a "big boy bed" soon.

All right. I'm about to go into depth about my entire experience with this bed so that people can get a fairly honest picture of what this bed is like because based on the reviews, I was skeptical of getting something good for the amount of money I was paying for. If you're expecting a bed fit for the gods, then I might suggest shopping for furniture in person rather than online. This isn't to imply that the bed isn't good quality--it's actually pretty nice, but more on that later.

Within three days of my order, I received it in the mail. I was a little worried about the rumors of it being the weight of a thousand elephants because I knew this was going to be a solo project. Not being the strongest of twenty-year-old girls, I was a little intimidated by own expectations. Now, I live on the first floor of my apartment, but there are about five stairs before getting to my door, which whoever delivered my bed still managed to bypass and...

OK, but you need patience to assemble.
This bed is about what you would expect for $150. Be prepared. This thing comes in a zillion pieces. Once you get the hang of it things speed up. I am reasonably handy and it took me a couple of hours. If you don't like mechanical tasks, you may be frustrated. The bed is sturdy but the drawers are flimsy.

I would likely think twice about buying this product again.

I realized after moving the bed 4 times its best to have an idea of where to place it. It is huge and heavy without the drawers or mattress. All in all my 4yr old loves it and its blue. The color brings so much life to the room. Try to be home when the HEAVY bed is delivered in an ackwardly shaped box. The UPS guy had a hard time carrying the box. This item is deserving of a giftcard for the driver.

Nice Headboard
I bought this for my mother whom I had to recently place in an assisted living facility. She needed a few extra shelves for knick knacks and books and she truly loves how it looks. Very easy to assemble, and the price was perfect. Would recommend to others.
