Good dresser...worth the money I paid
It arrived in great condition. The shipper really padded it well. It took me a long time to put it together (over 3 hours) but I did it all by myself. Even though the instructions said it was a 2 person job and I am 7+ months pregnant, I was able to put it together without any problems. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, there are just a lot of parts and steps. When it says assembly required...it literally means everything needs to be assembled. Overall, I love that I paid so much less than some of the other dressers and got a really nice one and was able to put it together without help:)

poor quality
When I bought something, I first read the review, it helps much. This time is totally is desarster. Paper is made of wood. So does this furniture. Bad quality, high price. But the customer service is good.

low price -- serves me right
My daughter wanted a white dresser for her room at college. I purchased this one because she liked the looks of it and the price was great. OMGsh! We got to the drawers (8 sides) and there were NO pre-drilled holes to screw a flat machine screw into to hold the drawer slide in place!! We finally took all 8 sides with the hardware (which needed 2 holes each = 16 holes total) to Home Depot and they were nice enough to drill the holes. Meanwhile, one of the round feet would not hold with the screw provided (the other 3 tightened fine) and that required a trip to Ace Hardware for advice (after several attempts at plugging/wrapping the screw with tape ... to try and get it to hold). We finally figured out that that foot was pre-drilled upside down and had to screw the foot on differently than the other 3. Wasn't worth the $$ savings!!

South Shore does well again!
Very well designed and packaged. The printed instructions could have been larger, darker and clearer. Aside from that South Shore does a terrific job!!
Not worth it
We ordered this along with the matching bedframes.

The dresser was difficult to assemble and many pre drilled holes were missing or mismatched. We were able to put it together, but it is very wobbly and shaky. And after two days - it broke. I managed to fix it but it looks a bit funny now.

I wish we could return it, but I don't think that's possible. So we'll try not to break it (or destroy it in frustration) for a year or so and then replace it once we move.

For those who want to know - the bed frames were also terrible and we couldn't even assemble them. We were able to return one (because it was unopened), but not the other. A few hundred bucks went into the dumpster this week and we can't afford to buy something else. We're not happy.
