Really happy with it!
Not sure what happened to the other reviewer, but I'd suggest he call the manufacturer as other reviews for their products suggested they were very accommodating if there was a problem (part of the reason I took a chance on this even though there were no reviews at the time).

Anyway...I bought this as a microwave stand for my kitchen. We need extra storage under our microwave and I hate having just a big open area like most microwave stands have, so this fit the bill nicely. Cake mixes and baking-type items fit on one shelf of the storage area on the left with the door, and 3 full bags of chips fit on the bottom (with still a bit of room left over for a big canister of oatmeal and other odds and ends). On the open shelves, I have one basket with food in it, and on the bottom is room to store all of my cookbooks (2 rows, one behind the other). The drawer does not have any rollers, but it still a nice size for potholders, chip clips, and other odds and ends. I wouldn't put...

Poor workmanship
This product now works as it should after I had:
1) reglued the door which came apart
2) used longer screws to make the drawer as the ones provided would not tighten
3) put all the slats back in place that had fallen off and renailed and reglued them - twice!
4) found some more dowels in the garage as there were not enough supplied.
This was made by "craftsmen"? I think not.
Do not buy this unless you are prepared to spend hours making it assemble properly.
Love it
This kitchen cart was easy to assemble and looks great in our kitchen. The piece of wood at the top looks way fancier than you'd expect for the cost. Great space saver for a small kitchen and holds a lot. We switched out the knobs for cuter ones, and it looks even better!

A few assembly problems
It arrived great. Good packaging. it arrived as 2 boxes, the cart, and the top.
After unpacking, it took me about 2 hours to assemble. All-in-all, it goes together like any other u-assemble furniture.
However, the two side panel alignment dowels were misaligned by just enough that they wouldn't go together without some modifications. they were off by about 1/16". Just enough to be a problem.
One of the the back panel inserts was a little too tall. I had to trim about 1/16" off it. Not sure if that was because of the dowel misalignment or not. Considering the panels were in the back, and problem dowel was in the front I don't see how.
Maybe only 1 in 100 will have the same problem, so be warned.
In the end, it's a nice looking cart and seems sturdy and will suit my need.

Great Cart!!!
Arrived very quickly. Looked overwhelming unboxing it, but went together very easily. It took longer than I thought to put together, but not bad. Quality seems Great. The shelve on top is great for Salt and Pepper. Suits my need perfectly.

The good and the bad
This island is fairly sturdy and attractive EXCEPT for the horrible "distressed" finish on the oak top. They add chips, stains, and "worm holes". The chips and stains are subtle, but the worm holes are the worst. They don't look natural at all. There are about 8 uniform patches of 30-40 1/8 deep holes. If you want a clean look, don't buy it. If you want an aged antiqued look, don't buy it because it looks totally fake and cheap. The worst part is that there is no mention of this "distressed" finish in the product description. It's a shame, cause the rest of the island is pretty attractive.

Beautiful island
I did a ton of research and read a lot of reviews before making this purchase. I read a lot of mixed reviews on this island and was concerned about the "worm holes" on the top surface. I am SO glad I took a chance on this island. It is just stunning. There are minor embellishments to the top surface, but they are extremely small, there are very few of them, and they do not detract from the beauty of it at all. Every person that comes over comments on how gorgeous the island is.

It also provides a great amount of storage. We took down 2 full hanging cabinets, and everything from those cabinets fit in here perfectly with room to spare. And the shelving on the sides was a nice touch and a great place to display some of my collectibles.

I ordered this from EZBuyFurniture and couldn't be happier with the service. It arrived in 3 days, well packaged with no damage whatsoever. The price they offered was well below the price listed here, so do some research, as...

This item is awesome, I ordered it sunday nite from ezbuyfurniture and got here by Friday, does take 3 people to put together, Took us 2 hours! Love it Love it~~the only bad thing which is not terrible but there is so much styrofoam and cardboard, think that took us an hour to do~~but who cares. So make sure you have lots of trash bags!! Just lovely and gave me incentive to clean out my other kitchen drawers and reorganize~~the worm holes people talk about are no big deal, actually i love them and gives it character~~so dont hesitate to order.

Very Nice Island-Cart, However.....
Very Nice Island-Cart. Looks Great and is very functional.
I found the instructions to be very clear. One note to the "Guys" out there that don't read instructions, Read and Follow the instructions! I am one if those guys. I started the build by looking over the instructions then doing it my way, bad idea.
Once I went step by step, everything lined up. Everything fit as it should.
It is a very sturdy, good looking build. It took me all of 4 hours to put together, taking my time. Make sure you have all of your tools available before you start. I wasted time looking for things during the build.

So why did I deduct one star? The Stainless Steel Top is not very durable.
I had this together in time for Thanksgiving and used it. The top scratches very easily. In retrospect, I should have gotten a granite top. We have SS Appliances so I figured this would fit in. I also figured the SS top would clean up easily and be easy to care for. It is all of...

It came in two boxes and boy were we worried. But, it was easy to assemble, is very study, great for a small kitchen like mine and provides that extra counter space and storage needed. I can't stop looking at it. It's amazing! You can't go wrong with this one!

Great, Economical Island
I purchased this island after an exhaustive search that included hours of reading customer reviews of this and other similarly-priced islands. In the end, this one cost slightly more than some of the others, but it truly is a quality piece.

Assembly was simple and accomplished in less than an hour with basic tools. All of the pieces fit together easily and the directions were about as clear and simple as can be.

In its finished form, this is a stout island that should last for many years under normal use. It truly feels like a piece of furniture, compared to some of the others that I looked at that are primarily constructed of pressed wood & look cheap and flimsy.

I do have to echo the sentiments of other reviewers that have stated that the finish on the top of this island looks like it could be easily scratched. A butcher block top would be much better, but would likely increase the cost as well. Our solution was to order a piece of glass from a...
Beautiful and Functional
We are extremely picky, and this exceeded every expectation. It is solid, beautiful and doesn't move or wobble when you work on it. I did the dough roll test, and it passed with flying colors. The dimensions are 36" high x 42" long x 24" wide, and there are two shevles inside the doors large enough to put mixing bowls and serveware.

Changes the entire kitchen
Absolutely Love it!!

Assembly was easy (it took my non-handy-man husband and I roughly an hour and a half). Also, the pictures and measurements are accurate. With the leaf up it adds almost a foot of room, enough to tuck in tall bar stools. We decided not to put the shelves up under the left side underneath the drawer, and our 22" recycle can fits with no problem! The quality is very obvious. After looking for 6+ months we are thrilled we decided to go with the Home Styles island and that we purchased it through amazon. It was more expensive on target, wal mart, home depot, and lowe's.

Kitchen island
Love this!!! It's solid wood..no particle board here. Lots of storage for my china and silver. The side shelves are perfect for storing my espresso capsules/syrups. I also store some serving items as well. Perfect as a buffet and breakfast bar for 2. Husband put it together in about 2 hours. It's amazing and totally worth the price. Cheaper than other "outlet" stores.
Great Piece!
I ordered this piece and it came fairly quick and was easy to assemble, I myself did not put it together but my husband did and it was not a problem at all. We love this piece in our kitchen, it is the perfect size, it is a little darker in person but is still fine. It looks like we spent 2 times more on it then we paid. My only complaint is the top stratches very easily. Any little thing can leave marks. But all in all a great buy!
