Solid Wood, Very Durable and Even Elegant
This table is solid wood and looks great in our study room. It fits a small space well, and sure beats buying flimsy paperboard products made of sawdust and glue.

Pros:
- Real wood
- Looks great
- Good size to accommodate tighter spaces

Cons:
- A bit pricey, especially if you have to pay for shipping. I was able to find the table with free shipping at the time I purchased it through the Target website.
- The picture on Amazon is a bit misleading. The stools are sold separately.
- The bottom brace doesn't seem as strong or thick as the rest of the table. We haven't had any problems with this, but if any part of the table fails structurally, it would be that bottom brace.

We have used the table constantly for more than six months. We are very pleased with the purchase.

Better than expected
I just ordered this item and chose two day delivery. I didn't want to spend the extra $50 for next day. Well to my surpirise it came the next day, which is great. The bench/trunk is easy to put together except for the last step. Attaching the spring hinges is a challenge. the bottom of the hinge is mounted inside the chest and you have the spring arm in your way. You have two 1/4" screws to mount it and about 3/4" clearance two try and fit your fingers in there to hold the screw while you install it. It's really hard to describe this process but it took me 15 minutes per hinge!! If there is a trick to it I never figured it out.

The bench is even more attractive than it looks in the pictures. It is solid and very sturdy with a ton of storage inside. It is only 2"" longer than the trunk it is replacing but there is so much storage room inside that what was in my old trunk barely fills this one. I especially like the lid. Beautiful Chest
This chest is well made. It's sturdy but not too heavy. It has a significant amount of storage space and is strong enough to be used as extra seating as well. It has a beautiful color and finish and it was very easy to put together.
Great value chest that looks great
This is a great looking chest and easily looks like a much more expensive piece of furniture. Assembly is relatively easy for a taller person but if you don't have good balance or reach, you may need help putting it together. The materials aren't the best in the world but it does look good in my living room next to a great dark hardwood TV stand. Definitely better bang for the buck over those $1000+ chests.

Dining room chairs look great!
Bought two dining chairs in the Chestnut color hoping to match my dining room table and Deacon's bench. The chairs arrived in superb condition and are just a tad lighter than the dark walnut of my table, but match the antique China Cabinet and pretty closely match my cocktail cabinet - also an antique. The price was $69 each plus shipping of $15 each, making the total $168.00. My other chairs were coming unglued, and dispite many attempts to reglue, they just gave up. Everyone who has visited really loves the new chairs. The picture shown in the Chestnut looks darker than the chairs actually are. The lean toward a dark Cherry color. Very pretty.

Great, Sturdy Bar Stools
I was very nervous ordering bar stools that I had not seen before- but these bar stools are extremely sturdy and they look great! They are heavy (Shipping weight 30lbs) and don't have too much of the distressed antique look (which is what I was afraid of when I received it). With free super saver shipping- these were also a fantastic deal! The closest bar stools we could find at the same price were extremely flimsy and did not look like a nice piece of furniture. I would highly reccomend these bar stools!

Not what I thought
The stool was not very well put together. There were gaps where the cross members were attached to the legs. I found better stools, for a lot less money (1/2 the price) somewhere else. I wouldn't waste your money on them.
Nice Stool
I found this stool to be well balanced and solidly made. It's got some bulk to it and not lightweight. The black finish is somewhat of a rough antiqued look that adds to the charm.

Grampa's Helper
My wife bought this rocker for our daughter when she gave birth to our grandaughter Mia in December 2011. There was a broken piece but the company rapidly replaced it and it has been a great rocker. I've done some baby sitting and that rocker served me right when I was rocking her to sleep after she finished her bottle of mama's milk. I liked it because it had nice wide arm rests and very comfortable. Grandaughter is almost 13 months old now, and they're thinking about moving it into the living room. Rocker is very sturdy and hasn't loosened and become noisy like so many rockers we've had years ago. It's also very attractive. Well made product. Would recommend purchasing it.

Perfect - simple and sturdy
I bought this for a computer desk in my office. It is simple in design, and sturdy of build. The quality is very good. The finish is a flat black which will show some marks, but glossy would too. I'm quite satisfied.

Overall a pretty good value.
Overall we like the table. It arrived on time and was easy to assemble. Generally it looks good and it appears to be sturdy.

My only reservation is the table top. It's constructed by gluing together short strips of "scrap" wood, instead of a series of long boards that run the length of the table. Even though the table is darkly stained (essentially black), you can see these glued up strips when the light shines on the table just so. Sadly this reveals the somewhat low-cost quality of the product.

Otherwise, it's fine. I'm sure we'll get years of good use from it.

Well made and very attractive but not the most comfortable
This chair is very attractive and roomy. it has a large seat so its great to curl up in but it is very firm. hopefully it can be broken in and become softer.

Solid - High Quality Walnut - Impressed
I thought these were a little expensive, up until the point they arrived. The come fully assembled at the factory and they are built SOLID! These are made of solid walnut (all around) and have a beautiful finish. This is definitely not some cheap ass bar stool. I have a feeling they will be just as sturdy ten years from now. I guess this company that makes these also makes some other high end furnature too. I ended up getting free shipping from Amazon, so considering how much these weight, it's a pretty good deal.

This stool looks great and fits under my kitchen island extention perfectly when not in use. The seat is comfortable and is the right height. The stool came boxed in one piece so all I had to do was take it out of the box. It is great for the price.

Great look, solid design
These stools look great in our kitchen and are built very well. They don't creak or sway like cheaper bar stools. The finish seems bulletproof and is a nice matte look, not too shiny.

The only problem I had was that I ordered 4 stools and one was the wrong size. They very promptly sent out a replacement, problme solved.

Comfortable seat at the perfect level for our island. They are low profile enought that they tuck under the 12" overhang, out of the way.

I would buy these again!

better than I thought.
This is a pretty sturdy, massive (and surprisingly heavy) table. It's made from solid wood (here goes another beautiful tree) and painted white. It's pretty tall (as dimensions show). Also on the edges the paint is artificially worn out to give it a slightly "rustic" appearance. The wood underneath is dark, like mahogany. Overall, I'm pretty happy with it, but 2 things are keeping me from giving it 5 stars:
1) I think the legs are too long not to put some additional supports on the sides. I took care of that pretty quick and now it's much more stable (I've been wondering if my floor is slightly uneven, too); and,
2) They gave me a bad nut. I mean this literally - a bad nut. It wasn't threaded right inside (not at all, more like it) so it was completely useless. And they don't give you any extra nuts so I was panicking that I won't be able to finish it. Thankfully, I had extra nuts from another home improvement project and used that nut instead.

dimensions were misleading
I ordered this table as a work table, thinking it was 42" high from the dimensions in the description. It is only 36" high. It also says 'bar' in the name, so I figured it was standard bar height. It's not what I wanted, but it's a beautiful table. I can't use it for what I intended, but it's so pretty that I'm not sending it back.
Great table
Just rec'd this table last week, and it's perfect for the space I needed. Bought it for a work/dinette table in my basement. Petite, yet big enough. Fits well with the stool I put with it. Might I add that it's very sturdy, and good looking too! Easy assembly. I could go on, but I think my point has been driven.
